CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center

Eva Mozes Kor was a Holocaust survivor and forgiveness advocate. She was one of the few surviving twins who shared her personal account of the medical experiments supervised by Nazi doctor Josef Mengele at Auschwitz. Born in Romania, Eva came to Terre Haute in 1960. In 1995, Eva chose to forgive the Nazis, determined they would no longer have power over her life. She described her forgiveness as an act of self-healing, self-liberation, and self-empowerment.

The recorded lecture will begin promptly at 1:00 pm EST. During the recorded lecture, the permanent exhibit "Choices: The Holocaust Through Eva's Story" will be closed. The exhibit will be reopened after the presentation is finished.
