Eva Kor Presentation

Saturday, May 18, 2019
1:00 pm EDT3:00 pm EDT
CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center

Eva Mozes Kor is a Holocaust survivor and forgiveness advocate. She is one of the few surviving twins who shares her personal account of the medical experiments supervised by Nazi doctor Josef Mengele at Auschwitz. Born in Romania, Eva came to Terre Haute in 1960. In 1995, Eva chose to forgive the Nazis, determined they would no longer have power over her life. She describes her forgiveness as an act of self-healing, self-liberation, and self-empowerment.

Eva Kor will begin sharing her story promptly at 1:00 pm EST. Immediately following, Eva will hold a Q&A, sign autographs, and take pictures with guests.

During Eva's presentation, the permanent exhibit "Choices: The Holocaust Through Eva's Story" will be closed. The exhibit will be reopened after her presentation is finished.
